Lauren + Chase // Mt. Naomi Farms Engagement // Utah Engagement Shoot

I had so much fun with these two, he started out a little shy, but she definitely brought out the fun side of him during the shoot. They are both beautiful people inside and out and I enjoyed getting to know them as we photographed them. They moved seamlessly together, and it was clear from every kiss how much they adored each other. Today is their wedding day and I can’t wait to share the day with them and record this journey for them. Congratulations you two!!

Madi + Mckay Bridals // Ogden Canyon First Look // Ogden Wedding Photographer

This was such a fun couple to do photos for. Their families are the nicest families. We had such a fun time even though we were freezing and sinking in the snow during this shoot. Their engagement session was seriously so fun, I knew their bridals would be too. They are so cute and sweet together. And can we talk about this bouquet??!! OH. MY. GOSH! I could NOT get enough of it. It’s seriously so beautiful.

I love all the details that come into play for a wedding, the dress, shoes, hair, bouquet, makeup. There is so much to think about during a wedding and so many things that need put together that if you haven’t considered using a Wedding Planner, you definitely should. And I have a list of some of the most talented ones you can use. Let’s talk, find you the best fit, and make your wedding day perfect for you without all the stress!

Lacee + Samuel First Look // Utah Mountain Bridals

He’s from Idaho and she’s from Logan. They met on Mutual. Their first date was to Firehouse Pizza where she chocked on her pasta and she knew he was the one when he still liked her after that awkward moment.

They love to be close and laugh all the time. They hug and laugh at the same time, each wrapping the other up in so much love. He seems a little shy at first, but warms up so quickly. She is so sweet, kind to the bone, who wouldn’t want to be around her?

I loved watching them together, seeing how they treat one another, make each other laugh, and melt right into one another. Our shoot was fun, adventurous, sweet, and romantic. All the best parts of love.

Wells Wedding // Montana Wedding // Montana Wedding Photographer

Starting a relationship with God is what brought these two together. They met in church, and fell for one another quickly...

Their wedding was in Montana, and the scenery did NOT disappoint. I was a big fan driving from Utah to Montana. You could see exactly why they wanted to get married there.

We started the day with getting ready shots of Caeli and her girls, then went to the barn to get her into her dress with her bridesmaids. Colton wanted to do a prayer together before the ceremony but didn't want to see her In her dress, so they stood at a corner wall, and held hands while Colton said a very heartfelt emotional prayer that had everyone in tears, praying for his sweetheart who would soon be his wife, the ceremony was beautiful, they put together a unity cross and said their I dos, then there was dinner, photos of the two of them, the shoe game, cut the cake, and a dance, the most tender mother son dance I have ever witnessed! Colton has such an amazing tender heart. It was such an amazing day that ended with a lavender toss as they ran to their car.

Sam Engagements 2018//Engagement Photographer// Southern Utah

I met Sam through Ashton~ they worked together at Nucor and I knew I liked her before I met her , since she was good at giving Ashton a hard time and keeping up with his dry humor. When we did their engagement session we had so much fun, they were adventurous and fun and up for anything I wanted them to do. We had dinner after and it was fun to get to know the two of them together and hear their story. Read it below!

from Samantha:

We met through classy ol' Tinder, he asked me out, I hesitated and waited a year to respond. Oops! But during that time I was still trying to figure things out with an ex and didn't want to mess things up with TC if they were to go well. He finally decided to try again and ask me out (April 2015). After that, we spent the entire summer just having a blast, camping, visiting National Parks, going to concerts, motorcycle rides, anything Utah had to offer. That October TC deployed for 7 months. During that time he got orders to Los Angeles and he asked me to go with him. Crazy enough, I agreed and was able to move down to my new job while he was still away. He moved down May 2016 and we started our new life together, including our "child," my very spoiled dog Roxee that he took right in and all of our bad habits. After a couple years of dating, I was really pestering him (probably my family even more) if there would ever be "the next step" but I also pressured that I wanted to be clueless about the proposal and be a complete surprise. I of course was the worst and thought every special date was "the date," including the fancy steakhouse on the cruise, the brunch boat trip for my birthday and anytime we went to Disneyland (which was often with the annual passes I made him get me for moving down here). Thanksgiving 2018 we decided to get out of the city for the holiday since we weren't able to make it to family's. We first spent a couple days in Death Valley (actually a lot more pretty than the name says) and then went over to Monterey. The whole trip we stayed in our snowmobile trailer converted to camper (aka it had a bed and fridge, nothing else lol). Friday night we decided to go down to Cannery Row and have a nice dinner by the water. What we didn't realize was it was their big Christmas Tree lighting event and literally got out of the car as the whole town was counting down. So least to say it was chaos. We thankfully found a place right on the water and enjoyed a nice dinner. Then we decided we would go find a place for dessert or a drink. Shockingly all the dessert places were closed even though it was only 8 pm! Me, being lazy me, decided we should just go back to the trailer to watch a movie and eat leftover pumpkin pie. Immediately once we got inside, I put on my PJs and got up on the bed (over the gooseneck). TC kept asking me to do everything (serve the pie, pick out a movie, set up the TV) trying to get me off the bed (I was clueless!). He even asked if I needed to go the bathroom. Finally the dog decided to jump off the bed and I got up after her to turn off the light and get her back up. TC jumps up immediately and says, "Wait I need the light on!" and hits the switch. I turn around to ask why and there he was on his knee and quickly blurted, "Will you marry me!" I was so shocked/confused, I grabbed the ring out of his hand and was like, "Really?". Then it hit me what was going on and he repeated himself and I said yes (obviously). He later explained that his whole plan was to ask at dinner and he had carried the ring around all evening but between me, the town events, and being placed next to the "to-go" counter at the restaurant, nothing felt right and he knew he better just ask before I figured it out. Since then, it's been a crazy year of planning the wedding while figuring out our careers and future.

Dan Wedding 2018

Absolutely loved this shoot and how stunning the bride looked with her beautiful flower crown! Did you know that in some countries flowers are thought to be a symbol of love, good luck, and prosperity? Some cultures even believe that when a bride wears flowers in her hair she will be blessed with happiness in her home. How perfectly fitting! So happy for this beautiful couple! Wishing you many days filled with the happiest memories!

Karissa + Weston // Mountain Bridals // Utah Wedding Photographer

Weston was in a bad accident that almost took his life.  He was in a coma for 10 days, lost eyesight in one eye, the sense of smell, and walked away learning never to take life for granted….

Austin and Brooke Bridals // Red Rocks // Little Sahara

The love between these two is what story books are made of.  They write to each other so romantically and enjoy the heck out of one another.  It's the love you always want to see.  Long standing.  Long lasting.  And perfect!

Rachel + Jon Bridals // Antelope Island // Utah Wedding Photographer

When a Niece or Nephew get married you start feeling old.  Where have the years gone?  I'm not ready to be the aunt!  When we were younger my siblings and I would look at the Aunts and Uncles and say "Someday we are going to be them" and sure enough here we are.

Logan Utah Temple// Rigby Wedding

There is nothing quite as beautiful as a light snow on a wedding day.  I know for most it means cold, and wet hair, but to me it creates magic.  There is something so dreamy about little snow flakes coming down as you exit the Temple as Husband and Wife.  These two weren't phased by it at all.  They smiled, and laughed, and hugged and kissed.  The cold didn't seem to reach them much at all.  To be cliche...they had their love to keep them warm. :)

Emily was absolutely a perfect bride.  Beautiful and sweet as could be.  And he couldn't take his eyes off of her.  They were both surrounded by such wonderful supportive family, and it was a happy occasion.  I am so excited for their journey together.

Engagements// Shanda Call Photography // Wedding Photographer

Its been a year since we took this sweet couples engagement photos!!  I wanna go back again!  They had me smiling from ear to ear.  They were so tender and sweet together and made every moment of their session so much fun.  They are so full of life and so full of absolute love for one another.  It was freezing cold outside and they still wanted to wade out into the water for photos.  They both have a love for Alaska and rain boots.

Seth + Kylee Engagements// Logan Utah Engagements // Utah Weddings

These two love to laugh.  Their whole session was laughing and fun with little sweet moments in the middle of all that laughter.  They find so much joy being with one another....

Big Cottonwood Canyon // Utah Weddings // Laughing to Loving

One day after Brittney got back from Israel, he just showed up on her doorstep. He didn't say a single word, just walked up and kissed her. It was their first kiss and "the rest is history" they said.

Brittany + Kyle Wedding // Provo City Center Temple // Shanda Call Weddings

This couple finally tied the knot! Kyle is the one that proposed during a poker game, telling Brittany he was "all in." You can read their full story on their engagement post here. They got sealed in the Provo City Center Temple, and obviously it was gorgeous!

Conner + Madi Engagements // Silver Lakes // Storm Mountain // Shanda Call Engagements

Oh my gosh. Talk about having a hard time narrowing down my favorites! Conner & Madi were so freakin cute together that nearly every image was frame worthy! Their love is so adorable and real and giddy that I would snap pictures in between and catch the very best moments!
