Britnie and her husband Cameron are a very lively and sweet couple, making it very fun to photograph them. They met in Germany on their mission. They were both serving at the same time on the same mission and it was here they became friends. After the mission they started dating and fell in love. Britnie is a ballerina and I have done her ballet shots for years so I was ecstatic when she asked me to do her engagements because I knew I would love photographing her with the man of her dreams. It was really cold when we did the photoshoot but they snuggled through it, they even made snow angels when they fell down in the snow which was adorable! They wanted to do some shots in their clothes they brought back from Germany with them which was so fun to photograph. Loved doing this shoot!
It didn’t take long after starting this shoot to realize how much fun this couple was. We started out with the two of them, capturing fun loving shots, the Logan Canyon providing a beautiful background. They were very lively with each other and you could tell just how much they loved each other. Their love started online where they first met, and it only blossomed from there. James loves how energetic and kind Amy is, where as Amy loves how playful and sweet James is. During one of the shots James kissed Amy and they both ended up falling into the snow in a fit of laughter, both loving every moment of it. Shortly after starting the shoot we brought out their playful puppy, grabbing photos of them and their pup. We eventually put their dog back into the car and near the end of the shoot we realized their puppy had locked the car doors. Luckily the window was a little bit down so I gave them my soft-box umbrella to try to stick through the window to unlock the car door with and we were eventually able to get in. We spent a good time laughing about this predicament. This was a very fun shoot to do, and I am very happy I was able to capture just how high-spirited this couple is.
I had so much fun with these two, he started out a little shy, but she definitely brought out the fun side of him during the shoot. They are both beautiful people inside and out and I enjoyed getting to know them as we photographed them. They moved seamlessly together, and it was clear from every kiss how much they adored each other. Today is their wedding day and I can’t wait to share the day with them and record this journey for them. Congratulations you two!!
I couldn’t have been happier when this beautiful woman reached out to me for her photos!!! We have been friends for a couple years and I photographed her sisters wedding. I love her so much, she is fun, a joy to be around, and I was so excited that she found her love.
He’s from Idaho and she’s from Logan. They met on Mutual. Their first date was to Firehouse Pizza where she chocked on her pasta and she knew he was the one when he still liked her after that awkward moment.
They love to be close and laugh all the time. They hug and laugh at the same time, each wrapping the other up in so much love. He seems a little shy at first, but warms up so quickly. She is so sweet, kind to the bone, who wouldn’t want to be around her?
I loved watching them together, seeing how they treat one another, make each other laugh, and melt right into one another. Our shoot was fun, adventurous, sweet, and romantic. All the best parts of love.
He couldn't wipe the smile off his face. He said it's the greatest day - which is his standard answer to everyday. He says everyday he is alive is a great day. After being in a bad accident and in a coma for 10 days, he takes every moment of life and lives it with happiness and energy. She was content to be by his side and hold his hand and lay her head against him.
Absolutely loved this shoot and how stunning the bride looked with her beautiful flower crown! Did you know that in some countries flowers are thought to be a symbol of love, good luck, and prosperity? Some cultures even believe that when a bride wears flowers in her hair she will be blessed with happiness in her home. How perfectly fitting! So happy for this beautiful couple! Wishing you many days filled with the happiest memories!
This girl is near and dear to my heart. She's more of a sister then a niece. She lived with my mom and dad off and on from the time I was 15 to when I moved out at 18. She was my little shadow and I loved to play with her. She even came to school on the bus with me a couple times when my parents were out of town. She was a darling baby and always so happy. It's bittersweet to me that she is getting married this week. On one hand I am so happy for her happiness and that she's found the best guy for her. And on the other hand it's another realization at how quickly life is slipping through my fingers. The years keep going and I can't slow them down any.
I was lucky enough to get to photograph this gorgeous girls senior photos, her brothers seniors, her sisters engagements, and now her wedding in Montana! …see more here
Its been a year since we took this sweet couples engagement photos!! I wanna go back again! They had me smiling from ear to ear. They were so tender and sweet together and made every moment of their session so much fun. They are so full of life and so full of absolute love for one another. It was freezing cold outside and they still wanted to wade out into the water for photos. They both have a love for Alaska and rain boots.
Thanks to my amazing associate Dycie Leishman for assisting on this shoot!
