Britney and her husband Rob were a very calm and easy going couple to photograph. We did the photo shoot in a breathtaking air BnB down in Salt Lake City and it was so fun to do. Britney and Rob have been married for a while now and their relationship is amazing. They were shy and unsure of what to do at first, but I quickly helped them become more comfortable in front of the camera. I think it’s so nice to have photos after you are married so you can see how much your relationship has progressed and how much stronger your connection is. These shoots are fun as you take a moment from daily to-do lists to enjoy each others company and remember why you fell in love.
It didn’t take long after starting this shoot to realize how much fun this couple was. We started out with the two of them, capturing fun loving shots, the Logan Canyon providing a beautiful background. They were very lively with each other and you could tell just how much they loved each other. Their love started online where they first met, and it only blossomed from there. James loves how energetic and kind Amy is, where as Amy loves how playful and sweet James is. During one of the shots James kissed Amy and they both ended up falling into the snow in a fit of laughter, both loving every moment of it. Shortly after starting the shoot we brought out their playful puppy, grabbing photos of them and their pup. We eventually put their dog back into the car and near the end of the shoot we realized their puppy had locked the car doors. Luckily the window was a little bit down so I gave them my soft-box umbrella to try to stick through the window to unlock the car door with and we were eventually able to get in. We spent a good time laughing about this predicament. This was a very fun shoot to do, and I am very happy I was able to capture just how high-spirited this couple is.
What an amazing connection these two have! Every moment with them was sweet, and so easy. They moved together seamlessly and the love they feel for one another was tangible. He adores her and she is crazy about him. They were so laid back during their shoot and went with whatever I threw at them. We came away with such beautiful images. Today is their wedding day and I couldn’t be more excited to spend it with them!
I had so much fun with these two, he started out a little shy, but she definitely brought out the fun side of him during the shoot. They are both beautiful people inside and out and I enjoyed getting to know them as we photographed them. They moved seamlessly together, and it was clear from every kiss how much they adored each other. Today is their wedding day and I can’t wait to share the day with them and record this journey for them. Congratulations you two!!
They met where most people meet now a day. Tinder. And who says it’s not the perfect place to meet the perfect fit? He asked her on a date but she never responded because she went back to her ex at the time. A year later when things didn’t work out with her ex she reached out to TC but he was in a relationship and thought “what the heck? She waits a year to talk to me?” So he didn’t respond. Two months later after he and his girlfriend broke up he was still thinking about this girl he met on tinder. He contacted her and said last time I asked you out you didn’t respond for a year so what will happen this time?
They ended up on their first date to Cafe Sabor and after that couldn’t stop seeing each other. They were hooked. They were the perfect fit.
She wanted surprised when he was going to ask her to marry him, so he set up all these big trips and nice dinners where you would think he would propose but he never did. She started thinking maybe he wasn’t going to when they were out walking by a lake and he finally asked her. It was surely a surprise since it was such an unexpected moment.
Their intimate Mountain wedding was absolutely perfect. The day was overcast, but no rain, the backdrop as they said I do, was so beautiful. The food was delicious, the dancing a blast, and the time together priceless.
Its been so fun to get to know these two. We went out for lunch the other day and it was so fun to catch up! I love my couples!!
I couldn’t have been happier when this beautiful woman reached out to me for her photos!!! We have been friends for a couple years and I photographed her sisters wedding. I love her so much, she is fun, a joy to be around, and I was so excited that she found her love.
Gosh Utah winter weddings can be so dang cold! But the photos are always so breathtaking. This gorgeous bride braved the cold, even when I made her hike through the snow, and the photos came out amazing. It was such a fun session! So don’t be afraid of winter weddings! We will wrap you up between shots and have so much fun, we can even get some hot chocolate after!
This was such a fun couple to do photos for. Their families are the nicest families. We had such a fun time even though we were freezing and sinking in the snow during this shoot. Their engagement session was seriously so fun, I knew their bridals would be too. They are so cute and sweet together. And can we talk about this bouquet??!! OH. MY. GOSH! I could NOT get enough of it. It’s seriously so beautiful.
I love all the details that come into play for a wedding, the dress, shoes, hair, bouquet, makeup. There is so much to think about during a wedding and so many things that need put together that if you haven’t considered using a Wedding Planner, you definitely should. And I have a list of some of the most talented ones you can use. Let’s talk, find you the best fit, and make your wedding day perfect for you without all the stress!
We had so much fun on this snowy engagement session! It wasn’t snowing when we started the session, but all the sudden it dumped on us! I thought they would want to quit shooting, but they just went with it and laughed and we had a good time. I love when my couples are adventurous and up for whatever fun is thrown our way. Excited for their wedding day!! Congratulations you two!
Starting a relationship with God is what brought these two together. They met in church, and fell for one another quickly...
Their wedding was in Montana, and the scenery did NOT disappoint. I was a big fan driving from Utah to Montana. You could see exactly why they wanted to get married there.
We started the day with getting ready shots of Caeli and her girls, then went to the barn to get her into her dress with her bridesmaids. Colton wanted to do a prayer together before the ceremony but didn't want to see her In her dress, so they stood at a corner wall, and held hands while Colton said a very heartfelt emotional prayer that had everyone in tears, praying for his sweetheart who would soon be his wife, the ceremony was beautiful, they put together a unity cross and said their I dos, then there was dinner, photos of the two of them, the shoe game, cut the cake, and a dance, the most tender mother son dance I have ever witnessed! Colton has such an amazing tender heart. It was such an amazing day that ended with a lavender toss as they ran to their car.
How have I not shared this session yet!! I plastered it all over my instagram so I think I thought I’d already done a blog post on it. It was such an awesome session! I have so much fun with this couple, they feel like instant friends. Easy to be around, easy to laugh with. I fell in love with her dress and the movement from it! So dang beautiful!
What a beautiful love these two have. They are so kind and gentle together, fun, funny, full of love for everyone around them. It was such a privilege to have the chance to photograph them for their engagement session and bridals. We had such a fun time together! Congratulations you two! Can’t wait to share your bridal session!
They met through a mutual friend, and they knew each other for two years before they started dating. On their wedding day it marked two years since they started dating. It took them a little while to finally kiss even though their friends kept telling them to just do it! She went on a vacation and while gone she thought about it and decided she wanted to kiss him after all, so when she got back, she kissed him and the rest is history! They were so much fun to photograph for their engagement session and it couldn’t have been a more beautiful day.
Lacee and Samuel met on Mutual (an online dating app) and after doing this shoot its super easy to see that the feelings are DEFINITELY mutual! :) They had their first date at Firehouse Pizza, and Lacee said she knew he was a good one when she choked on her pasta and he still liked her after that! They are such a cute couple and naturals in front of the camera! He was so sweet and romantic with her and she had no problem flirting back with him and just being super fun. They were even adventurous enough to get in the water and splash around at the end of the shoot! Happy wedding day you two!! So excited for you and all the great adventures that await!
The sweetest part of the wedding is when they played “Somewhere over the rainbow” during the first dances, for Dani’s brother who passed away, and Nicks uncle who also passed away that year. There was such a tender feeling in the room. What a beautiful day it was.
Absolutely loved this shoot and how stunning the bride looked with her beautiful flower crown! Did you know that in some countries flowers are thought to be a symbol of love, good luck, and prosperity? Some cultures even believe that when a bride wears flowers in her hair she will be blessed with happiness in her home. How perfectly fitting! So happy for this beautiful couple! Wishing you many days filled with the happiest memories!
We waited and waited but still they didn't show up and we had no cell coverage. After 40 minutes of waiting, I could see that Ethan was getting really nervous. He was a little fidgity and kept looking around everywhere. The easy going smile he always has, had been replaced by a look of concern. At one point he crouched down and put his head in his hands. I asked if he wanted me to say a prayer with him. I heard an audible sigh from his mouth as he shook his head yes….
Weston was in a bad accident that almost took his life. He was in a coma for 10 days, lost eyesight in one eye, the sense of smell, and walked away learning never to take life for granted….
This girl is near and dear to my heart. She's more of a sister then a niece. She lived with my mom and dad off and on from the time I was 15 to when I moved out at 18. She was my little shadow and I loved to play with her. She even came to school on the bus with me a couple times when my parents were out of town. She was a darling baby and always so happy. It's bittersweet to me that she is getting married this week. On one hand I am so happy for her happiness and that she's found the best guy for her. And on the other hand it's another realization at how quickly life is slipping through my fingers. The years keep going and I can't slow them down any.
The love between these two is what story books are made of. They write to each other so romantically and enjoy the heck out of one another. It's the love you always want to see. Long standing. Long lasting. And perfect!
