Jeffs parents and sibling had passed away before the wedding day. It was a touching day, with a lot of tender emotions and feelings from everyone on both sides. It was a day of missing those you love the most while feeling joy at marrying the person of your dreams. The bond between these two is so strong, they have been together for such a long time through so many hard experiences. I loved getting to experience that with them and see them together.
Chelsey use to attended college in Price, Utah where Jeff grew up. She had a friend that would spend time with Jeff and was familiar with the name "Jeff Spears". Chelsey moved out of Price for school and 2-3 years later returned for a job interview.
Chelsey went to the interview and had to check in with the administrative assistant who was a friend. While she was visiting with her, Jeff came out of his office and introduced himself. Chelsey kinda was like "ohhh this is who my old friend talked about". She got the job and moved to Price. Months later a group of friends would hang out and Jeff was always there. They slowly became friends then started spending more time together and talking more often. After a goodbye party for one of their friends leaving the area, they talked about dating. They slowly started going on dates and meeting each others family. And the rest became history. They were hooked from that point on and saw each other through so many different experiences. The wedding day was perfect.
And check out his wedding ring!! The middle piece is a part of the 2008 National Championship floor from KU and the two outer pieces are from the Allen Fieldhouse. So cool!
