We started bright and early with hair and makeup for the bridal party at Lydia's hotel.
I had a few moments to steal the bride and groom away for a few photos of just the two of them after their sealing. This is my favorite part - seeing a couple as man and wife for the first time together. Something just changes in that moment.
It was such a beautiful October day. They couldn't have picked a better time of year! The colors of the leaves and trees and plants were still so vibrant and rich that it made the best backdrop for this new couple! Her cathedral veil was seriously amazing, floor length and so flowy and elegant. Absolutely perfect for her! It was a dream.
The rest of the day went by without a hitch, there was a ring ceremony at the gorgeous Logan Steak House, there were speeches from loved ones followed by cake cutting, dancing, and all sorts of fun! They even played that game with the shoes of who knows who best, it got some really great laughs from everyone! They made it a really short reception and were on their way by 5 to start their life together! At the end they had a leaf toss send off - so different, and so fun to see everyone throw those fall colored leaves as they ran through the crowd. It was absolutely my favorite part!
Happy ever after to Lydia & Travis! See their cute engagement session up at Tony's Grove here!
