Fall Styled Shoot // Vintage // Classic

I love getting together with talented vendors and photographing a styled shoot at least once a year.  It helps my creativity and sparks excitement for me for the new year. This year we had a lot of volunteers and I love how the shoot came together.  We wanted a vintage, classic feel, and everyone tied in their pieces beautifully. Our gorgeous models Kaylyn O'Donnell (one of my dancers I've been photographing for years) and Malik Hogan were perfect together.  Just the right amount of fun and romance. Kaylyn's hair by Jocelyn Packer and makeup by Kassidy Veibell was picture perfect!  Exactly what we were looking for. They are incredibly talented. I told them what we wanted it to look like and they delivered.

Let's just talk about the jewelry for a moment!  OH. MY. GOSH!  S.E. Needham and Mary Gilbert Palmer did not disappoint.  The Vintage jewelry Mary provided was absolutely breathtaking.  I believe it is French from the 1820's!  AHHH!  Absolutely stunning.  The thick Gold band from S.E. Needham was classic and matched the beautiful vintage ring perfectly.  Go check our their sites, you seriously will fall in love with the intricate details and cuts!

Plant Peddler never let's me down.  When the bouquet was dropped off my jaw dropped! It was so gorgeous and the perfect touch for the photos.  The fall arrangement was everything that you would want on your table as your centerpiece during the holidays.  I highly recommend them - they have excellent service and beautiful arrangements.

Alycia Mark wanted to add a little 1850-1900's hotel vibe to the decor and create something different then the everyday we see at weddings.  She wanted it to feel intimate and have touches of old style romance tied in throughout.  She created a breakfast nook, room keys as the table placeholders (my favorite little touch) and the sweetest little breakfast cake.  She hand painted and designed the invitations and menus.  Adding delicious chocolates from Bluebird candies was just the right finishing touch.  They are so scrumptious!  It was fun taste testing after the shoot ;) Alycia is  incredibly talented and if you like original and something that stands out - she's your gal.

The dress from Bridallure was simply sweet and elegant.  Everything old style classic should be -  with the long lace sleeves,  wedding band collar neck line, cathedral train, and lace ruffles. This was seriously a dream to shoot.  It was a gorgeous fall day and we laughed, ran through fields, ate chocolates, and just had a great time creating all of this together.  It's never better then working with a talented team.  This one was top notch.

When you are planning your wedding, be sure to check these vendors out and see how they can help make your day the very best.   Have an idea of what you are wanting and ask lots of questions.  I always recommend working with a wedding planner.  We have access to some of the very best that we'd love to hook you up with - we'd love to sit down with you and see what you are looking for and point you in the directions that would work best for you - because YOU deserve the best on your wedding day :)
